Breakfast supplies were running low, but Marieka found an avocado under the couch, so we were able to have fagel/bagel toasted with cashew cream cheese, avocado and PB, and chia gel for breakfast, while I made up our lunches ("cream cheese" and kimchi sandwiches/bagel).
I suggested, with the location of things, that we do Southern Tlell things: Anvil Trail, Crow's Nest for groceries; then art studios, and Marieka agreed. I brought my trailer to bring back any groceries, also carrying out lunches and hiking shoes.
Hiking the Anvil Trail was a nice way to see the succession in the forest, going from new forest growth, to forest that had regrown since a fire in the 1840's, to old growth along the Tlell River that had not been touched by the fire. The old trees were amazing and we saw a further treat - an otter eating in the river. It swam away when it notices us, but watching it was special.
There were clearly parts of the Anvil Trail that were not as hiked, but, overall, it was nice.

Back at the bikes, having eaten lunch #1 on the trail, we went off to the Crow's Nest for eggs, real bread for me (1 more bagel and it didn't make sense for me to eat through Marieka's Carbonaut), lettuce, dried chanterelles, an onion, and another coffee for Marieka.
Coffee consumed, we went to the Crystal Cabin Gallery (many beautiful things), but were too late for the Sitka Studio, so decided to make that our afternoon tomorrow.

Stopping off at the Haida Gwaii Glamping Co to get more fish (1lb of halibut and 1lb of salmon for the next couple of dinners), the nice man helping us also handed me a grocery bag of greens, noting that he had been told by the lady we had met yesterday to give them to us - the promised and amazing greens from her auntie!
The halibut made for a wonderful dinner, with all of the dill from the bag, along with a half of the onion sliced and then drizzled with lemon olive oil, while I also did up some chanterelles, a wakame salad, and a large salad of the greens. Followed by chia-keto chocolate dessert and it was a great night, with leftover halibut for lunch tomorrow!
